From “maybe one day” to “today”. Meet the newest Affinity franchisee

This month, I’m delighted to welcome the newest member of the Affinity Associates franchise: George Isaacs, who starts his training in February before launching his practice in Manchester.

I caught up with George recently to learn more about his background and why he decided to join the franchise. His story is absolutely fascinating, and well worth your time reading in full.

You can read the full case study here: Meet our Franchisees – George Isaacs

George is a very talented and ambitious young man who has everything going for him. All the qualifications for a great career in accountancy, but he wanted more: to run his own practice. However, we all know that’s no easy task! Fortunately, he found the Affinity Associates franchise.

Why George’s story matters

George’s story is probably more common than people realise. There are thousands of qualified accountants who want to run their own practice but feel like the leap is too big. The barrier isn’t ambition or skill, it’s practical: how do you actually get from here to there? What systems do you need? How can you ensure your offer is wide-ranging enough to appeal to your customers? What are all the steps you don’t even know you need to think about?

The Affinity model gave George the support to address all those challenges and build something remarkable for himself. He will be developing his own skills with great support from the brand, and will be able to immediately offer dozens of service that would otherwise take many years, and considerable expense, to add to his own offering.

You might also be very interested to learn that there is also another player in this business: George’s uncle Reuben, who supported him with both advice and capital. A highly experienced business man who also recognised the strength of the Affinity business model, and it’s potential to create a lasting family legacy. Read the case study to learn more!

George is now getting ready to launch in Manchester with everything in place: the infrastructure, the systems, the support network, and a clear path forward. He’s got the qualifications and the drive, and the Affinity franchise has given him the framework to actually build what he’s been working towards.
